So I had to go to the dentist to get a new one ... it doesn't feel too good, but I have an appointment at the dentist for wednesday to get my crown ... so I'll survive ... lol I wonder if I'll be a queen, with 3 crowns then or if I need more ... did I need another reason to stop chewing gum? Kulturschock ... the Kulturschock Festival in Koblenz It's a Festival on Friday Dec 2, with 31 bands playing in 10 pubs/clubs/locations ... with only 1 ticket for 5€ you can try to see them all, tho that's almost impossible ... there are several bands I'd like to watch ... but there's one band I definately won't miss ... ... TOXIC WASTE ... /me does the happy dance ;-)))))
I'm so glad we could get those french guys to play at our festival ;-)

** I just finished reading 'DAEMON' , a high-tech thriller by Daniel Suarez ... a book I could hardly put aside ... and even tho it seemed a bit exaggerated to me at the end, I sure wanna read part 2 'Freedom' soon.
** my computers (private and at work) are inhabited by DAEMONs as well ... not only because a daemon is a computer program that runs as a background process, rather than being under the direct control of an interactive user, found on any multitasking computer operating systems (wikipedia) ... but because computer can and quite often do break my balls ... erm ... kinda ;-p
** I love my DAEMON outfit from Bare Rose ... kk, it's a Nidhogg ... but I use it as demon outfit ... ;-) ** and I got my personal DAEMONs ... nameless ... hated and loved as well ... I try to fight them now and then ... not sure if I really wanna get rid of them ... they are a part of me ...

'cool' is one of my fav words ... and my C-band is 'Les Crevettes' ... a local band I admire ... and I had watched them live again just a few days ago ... so cool - btw. ... when I started to play bass about 30 years ago (OMG ... that long ago !!!), I did so because it had only for strings ... easier than 6 strings to manage for a pea brain like me ;-) I never became a good bass player, but I always had ... and still have lots of fun with my good old '79 Fender Bass ;-)
And when I look at all the cool bass players I got to know over the years (and I'm even married to a bass player ... *grins*) ... I must say, they are quite special somehow ... in a very positive way ... well ... let's have a tasty beer on all the cool bass players ... and listen to Metallica's bassman Cliff Burton ... who was taken away way too early enjoy

wellllllllllll ... I CAN'T DO it ..... it would be easier to name my 15 worst pics or posts ... lol The Challenge has been so much fun ... the year passed by like a month or something ... and when I looked at all the posts, it brought back so many memories ... even some not related to the challenge itself ... lol During the challenge I got to know so many cool co-bloggers ... admired their choices, styles and skills ... and peeped into the world of SL fashion on their blogs ... I grabbed the chance to do quite some nonsense pics ... dived into making lil machinimas (oh ... there's still so much to learn) ... and even created quite some outfits and props, tho most of them not for sale ... I recieved so many nice comments ... (and unfortunately ran out of time to comment on all the other blogs I looked at, sorry) ... a big thank you to all of you ;-))))
As I feel that I did 2 different kind of postings, I cheated a bit and made two Fav-15 collections ... there were those post where I liked the pic itself or the idea behind the post ...
and of course those posts with moving pictures - either anigifs or machinimas - ... plus 1 comic and 1 slideshow ... Tho those posts usually meant a lot of work, they were the most fun to do ... maybe because they often required co-workers ... and I love those girls and guys who helped me there and who were so patient with me ... ;-P
and ... erm ... ok ... there are still 2 colours missing ... PINK and RUBY
PINK is filmed but not cut yet, due to technical problems (and lack of time) RUBY could have been done by now if SL hadn't been bad with me when Rudh was already dressed up and waiting, but all I got was me ruthed and nekkid with a tiny piece of Ruby, no relog, cache clearing, whatever did help ... and when my french loonatic gave me the right tip how to get myself back, it was already too late ... and after that ... see above ... (lack of time) ... But it will be done before Round 2 (starting in January) ... I'm already looking forward to all the new colourful posts, co-working and fun ;-))))
oh ... and before I forget it ... TY Luna, for starting all this ;-)))
so I found an alternative challenge while the 52 Colours Challenge is taking a break ... Got it from Mir's blog ... and tho it seems to be rather a challenge between Mir and Locke, she also kinda invited others to join her. It's an Alphabet Challenge ... I'm not sure if it's daily, weekly, monthly or random ... don't know if there's any rule beside that it's in alphabetical order ... but I usually make my own rules anyway as you prolly have noticed ... *grins* So this challenge for me will be about anything that's on my lil pea brain mind, not necessarily about SL, prolly often without a pic, but hopefully always with a band or a song with a matching letter ;-P
ALTERNATIVE as in option ... I'm always trying to check alternatives ... some ppl say I just cannot make up my mind ... that might be true and be one of my many weaknesses ... but I hate to have to stick to only one given way ... and of course ...

While I tried to clean that Halloween monster ... I recieved the sweetest package ever ... from my fav actress and friend Rudh... I opended it carefully ... and a lil puff hopped onto my shoulder ...

A few days ago I got an invitation to watch an exclusive extraterrestrial fashion show ... So I put on a nice simple CREAM costume and got ready for a short trip to the stars ... But when I had just stepped outside, I discovered a run in my new cream stockings ... ... DARN ...
but too late ... the show event of the year wouldn't wait for me ... so I grabbed the next tp ... ready for MULBERRY ..... Be invited to come with me and be amazed ... ;-))
I must admit ... when I saw Rudh's amazing dress, I wanted hide behind some planet far away ... what a gorgeous choice ... and as usual I have to thank her for all the patience with me ... it was fun tho to make her run up and down the catwalk ... ;-P
btw ... Rudh had suggested Marilyn Manson's 'Sweet Dreams' ... but when I accidently stumbled over Probot's 'Sweet Dreams' ... I just couldn't resist Dave Grohl and King Diamond ;-) and I found out that I actually love to stand on a stage, in SL as well as in RL ... lol
Next week will be the last colour of Luna's 52 colours (wow ... how time passed by) ... ORANGE
But I'm lucky ... I still have 2 colours to catch up, both lil movies ... that should keep me busy till the challenge continues or till I find a new one ... lol
I want the cake with the chocolate please ... or maybe the one with strawberries ... or sugar icing .... I would take them all ... if someone could just help me get a lil closer ...

Did you ever get lost in the woods ... I just did while I was trying to find a nice place with MossGreen ... Well ... actually only my cam got stuck in the prims of the trees and it took me some hard work to fimd myself ... erm ... like pressing ESC ... ;-P Anyhow ... I didn't mind cause I was at such a beautiful place : Misty Mountains and I played with some windlight setting, so I got a nice foggy fall morning ... just like in my RL these days ... and did some pics for a lil slideshow ... but damn ... when I wanted to upload the pics to slide.com, I got the notice that Slide.com will be shutting down in March 2012 ... and my 93 slideshows and my guestbook on my blog will stop working ... SH..!!!! Anyway ... I got my new pics up to my photobucket account, and as long as there's no nekkies on them it will be fine too ... I just liked the templates and possibilities in slide ....

This week's colour made me kinda adventurous ... So I put on the 'Sexy Safari' outfit I got from Bare Rose ages ago ... sometime in my first SL year ;-) I must admit I tinted it a tiny bit ... and voila ... Khaki Pants and Melon Shirt ... and ready to go hunting ;-)) oh Dear ... lions can look so dangerously close thru the field glasses ;-P
but I'm a first class hunter ... got me an XXL lion ... *grins* .... mmmmmhhhhh ... so tasty ;-)) This 'Virtual Africa' is a really nice spot to relax ... damn ... I should have shot some marshmellows to roast ;-P For next wext week Luna wants us to do Moss Green ... got no idea for it yet, but I like that colour ;-)

UC enjoying everyone (damn, I usually miss recording him, cause it's early Sunday morning for me and the place is always packed, which means danger of crashing when running Fraps) ... Imdy performed the best song of the world ... and today ... yay ... Erika did it again ;-)))) my Saturday morning (the friday midnight) was quite disastrous ... alarm rang too early, I had no DJ cause my new reg DJ Missy had an RL emergency, my recently pulled out tooth sent greetings from nirvana, mood was kinda at the bottom and crowd gone ... lol Sunday morning was such a good contrast there ... lots of nice folks at the club, UC singing better than ever ;-), ltns Dylon and Bagor had stopped by, I crashed only once, I had Fraps ready (ty Imdy) ... and Erika did sing, well, tried inspite of all the giggling ... I so love that ... /me lubs you folks ;-)) enjoy
So I was in a daring mood yesterday ... and tested the mesh-version of the Firestorm viewer even tho it's a Beta ... I don't have any mesh stuff ... but I wanted to see Depth of Field !!!! and hell yeah ... I LOVE it ... and if I had a stronger computer and not a netbook, I guess I'd never turn it off again ... lol So you have to bear with my experimental versions of catching up colours ;-) 3 in fact ... Chartreuse, Liver and BrickRed ...

I still love how you can focus on stuff and ppl with that ;-)
