Bye to Volkov ...

So I had a rather melancholic start into the day ...
I removed my mainstore, my belongings, my home ... from Volkov ...
and buried it deep into my invent ...

Mayala Loon: Damn ... I could do with a wine now ... if it wasn't morning and I had to go to work ... lol
Dylon Revnik: lol I'll drink for you Loony lol

HeHe ... I bet Dylon drank a cold beer instead of a nice red wine ... but that's fine by me too ;-P

So I found this 365 idea in Guen's blog this morning and thought, 'cool idea ... I might try something like that too' ...
I will not do it as posts, but you'll find it as a gadget in the side-bar ...
showing pix of my SLme or RLme ... sometimes maybe just pix that express my mood ...
or whatever comes to my mind that I wanna show you ... or which I just want to keep as a memory ... lot of pix from my mobile I guess, as I usually have it with me ... hopefully on a daily basis ... *grins* ... so stay tuned if you like ;-)

and before I forget ... tomorrow ... or rather today ;-P ... ok ...
this Friday , 1-5pm, at the C.O.R.
there will be another DJ battle ... very special this time ... 4-5 DJ's as far as I know:
Oz, Maxxius, lemoning, HellBone (and maybe Tyn) ...each with his own host ...
playing themed songs to challenge audience and the other DJs as well ...
I hope you can stop by to support DJ HellBone and me ... ;-P

... even my pea brain is capable of revising plans ...
So I knocked on Tempest's door again and asked if could pull out from pull-out ...
and yep ... she agreed ... phew ... ;-P
so my event spots will be set on 'temp filling' for a while and I'll still do them when there's no cover ...
giving up my home/mainstore and the shop at Sanct was inevitable ...
but for hosting a bit of a break should do as well ... I'd miss it too much on the long run ...

One thing I'll definately miss is Drake dj-ing my Friday midnights/ Saturday mornings ... it was his last time today ... he's too busy now with managing ... and it always meant quite a late night for him ...
So I gotta visit some of his other shifts to hear that smexy voice again ...
wonder who will be my next new reg midnight DJ ...

it was quite a nice Halloween Party at the C.O.R. yesterday ...
though I look rather like vanilla pudding with strawberry topping than a headless ghost ...
and I wonder what my french LoonAtic is doing there ... *grins*

oh ... and while I was looking for a texture for my HAIRBAND-Party tomorrow ...
I found this Hairband-post ... worth sharing for a good laugh ;-P
maybe I should try to get one of those hairbands ... I wouldn't mind ... *grins*

My very own 3rd Life ...

There are those days when RL and/or SL just suck ...
I had them again over the last weeks ...
and I often wished to leave... to where-ever
... a 3rd life would come in handy ... ;-P
and guess what ...
I got one ...
I just realised that ... and I got it almost since I got a 1st Life (does it make that the real 2nd Life then?) ...
I got the client always with me ... no need to make an account ... no passwords ... no TOS or rules ... no sliders, radars, lists, tags, nc, spam, griefers ... it works unplugged and without the web ... lol

It's those precious moments when thoughts start to wander without control ...
the creative blinks ... time of ideas and hopes ... somewhere between wake and sleep ... duty and spare time ... sense and nonsense ...
sometimes seconds ... minutes ... even hours ...

Too bad that the interface to my other lifes is quite poorly developed ...
maybe I should start bug-fixing this interface ...
like beginning with this pic ... scribbled when my bad mood made me go into my 3rd Life for some relief ... and waiting to be turned into a better drawing ...
a chance to find my way back to my RL-drawing skills ... long neglected ...





















I just love DAY-DREAMING ...
maybe because it's one of the few things I'm pretty good at ... ;-P
