erm .. well ... I actually had an idea for an outfit for Aquamarine, this week's colour of Luna's colour challenge Round 2 ...
I had even started do draw half of that outfit in gimp ... almost finished the shirt part and then ran out of time/got stuck/whatever ... and finally put it on my list for things to do when chicken grow teeth (as Dom puts it *grins*)
Anyway ... my shift last Saturday at Sanctuary Rock, with BLUE as event theme, helped me to still get a pic for this week ... erm ... kinda ...
I'm sure there's some Aquamarine somewhere in the blues of my skirt ... erm ... maybe on the inner layers of the skirt ;-P ... one of my fav skirts actually ;-))
And even tho I was afraid of crashing, I was glad to have turned on fraps just in time to catch UC singing again and to put the cream topping on that gorgeous Sunday morning, he even played one of my fav songs from one of my fav bands ;-)))

A few days ago I got an invitation to watch an exclusive extraterrestrial fashion show ... So I put on a nice simple CREAM costume and got ready for a short trip to the stars ... But when I had just stepped outside, I discovered a run in my new cream stockings ... ... DARN ...
but too late ... the show event of the year wouldn't wait for me ... so I grabbed the next tp ... ready for MULBERRY ..... Be invited to come with me and be amazed ... ;-))
I must admit ... when I saw Rudh's amazing dress, I wanted hide behind some planet far away ... what a gorgeous choice ... and as usual I have to thank her for all the patience with me ... it was fun tho to make her run up and down the catwalk ... ;-P
btw ... Rudh had suggested Marilyn Manson's 'Sweet Dreams' ... but when I accidently stumbled over Probot's 'Sweet Dreams' ... I just couldn't resist Dave Grohl and King Diamond ;-) and I found out that I actually love to stand on a stage, in SL as well as in RL ... lol
Next week will be the last colour of Luna's 52 colours (wow ... how time passed by) ... ORANGE
But I'm lucky ... I still have 2 colours to catch up, both lil movies ... that should keep me busy till the challenge continues or till I find a new one ... lol
... aren't they gorgeous?!? I heard Sundevildaddy sing ... UC enjoying everyone (damn, I usually miss recording him, cause it's early Sunday morning for me and the place is always packed, which means danger of crashing when running Fraps) ... Imdy performed the best song of the world ... and today ... yay ... Erika did it again ;-)))) my Saturday morning (the friday midnight) was quite disastrous ... alarm rang too early, I had no DJ cause my new reg DJ Missy had an RL emergency, my recently pulled out tooth sent greetings from nirvana, mood was kinda at the bottom and crowd gone ... lol Sunday morning was such a good contrast there ... lots of nice folks at the club, UC singing better than ever ;-), ltns Dylon and Bagor had stopped by, I crashed only once, I had Fraps ready (ty Imdy) ... and Erika did sing, well, tried inspite of all the giggling ... I so love that ... /me lubs you folks ;-)) enjoy
and it only took me more than 4 weeks to finish it ... hehe
made me almost die from laughing several times ... you are warned hereby ...

I'm pretty sure there isn't just Apricot in Rudh's breathtaking outfits (yep ... both of them *grins*), but in Mr. Mayo's vest too ... and the Jazzberry can be found in his cassis pop ... a drink I had found during my vacation visiting the Dutch and which I imported right into SL. It's actually created from the can I brought with me ... it looks so cool (but the pop tastes ... well ... erm ... let's say, I don't need to drink it again ... hehe)
hm ... 2 more colours ... not bad, huh, ... it leaves me only 6 to catch up atm ... including #28 Pink ... which is causing me some unexpected problems ... but I cannot have Miss Laura18 Streeter look like THIS just because my bluebox thinks PINK is BLUE ....
But I'll get it sorted out before xmas ... PROMISED !!!
Celadon ... what a beautiful soft relaxing colour ......
When I saw my smexy friend Cats Kornfeld as a mermaid ... erm ... mercat ... in her post last week I remembered the mermaid outfit I once had created for the Deep Sea Event at Sanctuary Rock ... and how good it feels to float around ... the colours of the tail matched Celadon at least in some spots ... and I grabbed the chance to happily swim and chat with Cats for a bit ... and later relax on those cool rocks that she got on her beautiful little island ... I usually either spend my time hosting at Sanct, which is rather hectic ... or alone designing nonsense on my land (tho that became quite rare) ... but I guess I should do something like this more often for a change ... and can I do it in RL too, please? ... ;-)

Darn ... haven't blogged for a while now ... missed some colours for the Challenge already and I will be late for the #30 Ruby with Rudh ... but I will catch up eventually ... especially as I had some very cool help from very nice persons for my preperations for #28 Pink ... so stay tuned ;-)
But for now RL has claimed to be the FIRST LIFE ... and besides a lot of extra hours at work ... the two last weekends were just AWESOME ... on May 21 I had my first gig with the band that I'm in since March ... and it was a whole lot of fun ... and the next gig will be on wednesday ... ;-)))))))))) I might do a post about that in a bit too
But today I just wanna post about my last weekend ... the day when I finally met my fav french punk rock band TOXIC WASTE ;-)))))))) I wrote about them in Febury 2009 when I longed to see them live. And now they came to Germany ... played in Aachen in a super cool club called Hauptquartier. (If you ever visit Aachen ... check out the Hauptquartier ... cool music ... and very very nice owner/staff ... TY Dieter for the great evening) Funny enough I had a Punk event that morning at Sanctuary Rock ... and of course I wore my Toxic Waste shirt ;-)
And in the evening I got me 2 REAL Toxic Waste shirts ... Toxic Waste played a really cool set ... just a bit too short ... I could have listened to them all night long, but Loran said it's too 'physical' ... *grins*
and the best is ... they played one of my fav songs for ME !!! ... Bricolage Circus check out at 0:10 when Brewst says 'for you' and Loran 'for LoonAtic' I could have kissed them ;-)
So ... after that cool concert and quite some beer and lots of laughing and trying to explain stuff in english 'very slowly' ... *sniggers* ... I sure want to see them again ... hopefully in October ... (and I so wish I could see them on June 10 in Lille together with Tyson Boogie and Bam!! ... why is it so expensive to travel those 450km !!??!!)
Days like that make me forget any other life ... lol
Rudh's heaven is Hell ... ;-) ... and Hell's heaven is on wheels ... ... HELL & CO ON WHEELS ... actually ... and of course Rudh is Hell's heaven too ... I guess ;-)

On Saturday 7th May, 2011, at 12pm SLT, HELL & CO ON WHEELS is officially opening the doors !!!
with an event where Hell will DJ (very cool ... Hell once was my DJ of the month at the C.O.R.) with special Limited Editions on offer, price reductions, freebies etc.
So Luna wants to keep us in good health with lots of vitamins again ... by challenging us this week with TANGERINE ... Now ... as much as I like to eat tangerines (I call them Mandarinen) ... it's so not my colour ... I don't own any Tangerine coloured clothes in RL ... and only my Sanctuary Rock shirt in SL ... ...... till now ... lol
The first thing that came to my mind was the old (founded in 1967) german Electro / Experimental Band 'Tangerine Dream' (and they still exist !!!) So I listened to their songs on youtube, while designing my outfit ... and I spent a whole evening dancing in my photosphere to their song 'Stratosfear' ... surrounded by my Tangerine Galaxy ;-)

BLACK ... the toughest colour of them all? Not sure if it is a colour at all ... or just the absence of colour ... the absence of light that enables colour?
First I thought I'd try it like my friend Walter ... but his blackness became a kind of art ... and is way too delicate and elaborate to be copied ;-P
Next I thought I'd just use one of my 365 daily pics ... 120-365 ... it's kinda BLACK, isn't it? Funny thing is ... photobucket censored some of my daily pics ... restored most of them .. but this one ... the only one with real nudity ... never caused any problem ... prolly because they didn't find out how to turn on the light ... *grins*
erm ... yep ... there really is a pic above this sentence ... *grins* Anyway ... I decided it was not my choice for Luna's colour challenge either ...
Nope ... I went a far more complicated way ... thought I'd do a quick movie ... I chose one of my fav black outfits ... still unreleased cause it's unfinished yet ... but I love to wear it for the 'Bad in Black' events ... and then the problems started ... SL being a pita with rezzing, killing textures, crashing and whatever could go wrong went wrong ;-P MovieMaker didn't behave much better, tho I was glad to find out how to get and make custom effects and transitions ... The BlueBox thing and the strobo effect are fun ... Composing and rendering the different parts, recomposing and rendering them again ...took AGES !!! But I just love to mess with clips and things and always discover something new ;-)

those who know me or followed this blog, know that I tend rather to the Rock and Metal side ... But I saw Krach at an open air during my last summer holidays ... The most rainy open air I've ever been to ... But when Krach played, their rocking, crunchy, cool electro tunes electrified me and put me into a kinda trance that made me forget the rain ... I just danced the whole set thru ... So ... whenever you should get the chance to see them ... grab it ... or get their album which is freshly released ;-P
