My harddisk is full of snippets and clips of singing DJs ... 
of UC, for example, who is famous for his serenading ;-)
But this time I thought it's time again to do a 
'Best of DJ Erika and DJ Imdy singing' ... 
once more ;-)

captured during several events at Sanctuary Rock in 2012 / 2013
It's always so much fun to have both of them around ... and even more precious, as they aren't my reg DJs anymore, but jump in now and then to cover.

today in my lunchbreak, when I was chewing my soft chewing gum, I suddenly bit on something hard ... damn ... my provisorium ... 
and of course it broke ...
So I had to go to the dentist to get a new one ... 
it doesn't feel too good, but I have an appointment at the dentist for wednesday to get my crown ... so I'll survive ... lol
I wonder if I'll be a queen, with 3 crowns then or if I need more ...

did I need another reason to stop chewing gum?

Last Day in Hellevoet

yep ... unfortunately it's our last day In Hellevoetsluis ... ;-(
but fortunately it's the day of WALLENPOP ;-)))
so I'm looking forward to 12 hours of cool music and hopefully hardly any rain ...

the festival area with the 2 stages you see on the pic above will prolly already start filling up by now ... and I'll hurry to get breakfast done and then I'll head over to the vesting ;-)

When I'm back home tomorrow, I'll start to catch up with the still missing colours from the colour challenge ... and my pea brain already picked up the gauntlet, that Rudh had kinda thrown ;-)

Darn ... haven't blogged for a while now ... missed some colours for the Challenge already and I will be late for the #30 Ruby with Rudh ... but I will catch up eventually ... especially as I had some very cool help from very nice persons for my preperations for #28 Pink ... so stay tuned ;-)

But for now RL has claimed to be the FIRST LIFE ...
and besides a lot of extra hours at work ... the two last weekends were just AWESOME ...
on May 21 I had my first gig with the band that I'm in since March ... and it was a whole lot of fun ... and the next gig will be on wednesday ... ;-))))))))))
I might do a post about that in a bit too

But today I just wanna post about my last weekend ...
the day when I finally met my fav french punk rock band
TOXIC WASTE ;-))))))))
I wrote about them in Febury 2009 when I longed to see them live.
And now they came to Germany ... played in Aachen in a super cool club called Hauptquartier.
(If you ever visit Aachen ... check out the Hauptquartier ... cool music ... and very very nice owner/staff ... TY Dieter for the great evening)

Funny enough I had a Punk event that morning at Sanctuary Rock ... and of course I wore my Toxic Waste shirt ;-)





















And in the evening I got me 2 REAL Toxic Waste shirts ...
Toxic Waste played a really cool set ... just a bit too short ...
I could have listened to them all night long, but Loran said it's too 'physical' ... *grins*

and the best is ... they played one of my fav songs for ME !!! ... Bricolage Circus
check out at 0:10 when Brewst says 'for you' and Loran 'for LoonAtic'
I could have kissed them ;-)


So ... after that cool concert and quite some beer and lots of laughing and trying to explain stuff in english 'very slowly' ... *sniggers* ... I sure want to see them again ... hopefully in October ...
(and I so wish I could see them on June 10 in Lille together with Tyson Boogie and Bam!! ...
why is it so expensive to travel those 450km !!??!!)

Days like that make me forget any other life ... lol

Today was one of those days ...
one of those weekends actually ...
that are better not remembered ...
tho one thing I was looking forward too was UC's 4 anniversary as DJ at Sanct ...
too bad that he's usually on when I'm still sleeping and so I only can grab the last minutes of his shift before my Sat 10pm event (my sunday morning) ...
But those minutes are always fun ... cool tunes and a hell of a singing DJ ...





















and I love when he says 'Looooooonatic Wear' ... ;-)
But today it only was a hell of a f... L.. (nope, I won't say those 4-letter words)
I couldn't even get my ballons out of my invent, could hardly move nor cam around ... sh...





















and if Imdy hadn't come to my rescue, I'd had the second party without DJ ...
later I got those damn messages for rental pay again, that reminded me that I might have to shut down my store again within the next weeks ...
but hey ... looking at all those fashion blogs lately I think it doesn't belong anywhere on the grid anyway ...
Somehow I felt like ZERO all weekend ...
I saw this kind of challenge over the last days on some blogs

for letting Luna chose SkyBlue when I had a clip planned in bluebox technique ...
finding and doing a work-around cost me many many hours ...
and turned quite some of my hair into grey ...
but what made me mad most was ... this clip was meant to be for Rudh's birthday as well ...
and I was quite sad that I could only give her a mini version on her special day ...
Anyway ... Happy Birthday, Rudh ... again ;-) ...

I wanna be an Angel ...

... when I was a kid, the teachers at school always made me 'Mother Mary' in those darn Nativity Plays ...
prolly because my name is Maria and I already got long brown hair in those days ...
But all I wanted to be was one of those lazy Angels in the background, who could wear a beautiful dress, had those gorgous wings ... and most important ... didn't need to say anything ...
Now I thought I could make this dream come true in SL ...
made me a nice dress, grabbed my wings and even a halo ... and looked out for a Nativity Scene ...
What can I say ... guess it's easier to be the ebil Snow Queen next time ;-)

Pre Xmas Fun

OMG ... it snowed today ... I mean, it really SNOWED ...
Where I live we usually get maybe 2 or 3 cm of snow in 1 or 2 weeks a year ...
Today alone we got 15 cm ... and it had already snowed the days before ...
I saw Talis' view onto the Winter world today ...
So I thought I'd share my view out of my window with you (taken this afternoon) ...
I so love snow ;-)))

Funny how the snowflakes look in flashlight ... like 'full bright' activated ;-P
Too bad it started raining now ...
and forcast says my chances for a white Xmas are rather low ;-(

Talking of Xmas ... I got 2 presents today already ...
and ... spank me ... I could not resist opening them ...
Now isn't that cute ... Hellbone turned me into Mini-Rudolph ...
and Rudh gave me a matching reindeer-friend ;-)))
