30 Days of Gratitude - 24

YaY ... I still got so many reasons to be grateful ... I I hardly find the time to post them ....

but one day ... one day ... I'll have all 30 posted ... promised ... lol

Today I pack several reasons for gratitude into one huge 

THANK YOU !!!!!!

YaY - the nice surprise ... and it really was a surprise that got me totally out of nowhere ... that my fav Hoochie kinda gave to me ...

I was kinda just a few minutes out of bed this morning ... had quickly prepared for my event ... and well ... dressed matching the Reefer Madness Event ... headed over to Sanctuary Rock where I was fighting my personal lag a bit, while enjoying the rest of the set of DJ Locke, a guest DJ that I loved to listen to in the beginning of my SL and SR days ... I perved around to check who I had missed greeting ... when I suddenly wondered where the heck my avi was ... I couldn't see any green hair on the dancfloor ... nor anyone who looked like me ... I saw Guen and UC and Locke and rainnlyn and quite a number of patrons ... and a grey bunny standing like a stupido near the place where I thought I would dance ...

wait ... why doesn't have that bunny a tag or a name on it ... why did I always see that stupid bunny with the ebil red eyes whenever I hit ESC ...?

Wait ... no ... please noooooooo ... that bunny was  ... ME !!!!

Now I gotta apologize  to Guen for not reacting when  she handed me the host tag ... I was desperately trying to get back into my real self ... while it dawned on me that I had been under the spell of the ebil Hoochie ... I had clicked a link she had sent quite some minutes ago (and I had wondered only for a sec why no browswer window had opened and blamed it on the lag ... lol)

Imdy ... me lubs you .. that was the most funny and strange thing I had when totally not expecting it ;-)

YaY - for the coolest club in Second Life .... Sanctuary Rock ;-)

- they made me feel quite old when they dedicated an event to me, cause I'm part of it for more than 4 years ... that's almost grandma in SL ... lol

it was the LOONY Avatar party ... such a matching theme ...  I simply had to go as burning matches ;-)

and look at that awesome huge smile that was UC ... and the tasty cup of coffee (or even tea) that was Guen ... and Santa Austin ... it was big fun ;-)))

-  we had an awesome week celebrating the 6th anniversary of Sanctuary Rock ... with guest hosts and guest DJs ... the Staff and VIP Auction (it was the expected disaster for me ... lol ... but YaY ... Lainey saved me) ... a DJ Battle (too bad I could only listen to those cool DJs for 1 hour before hugging my pillow) ... and a live band (unfortunately at a time where europeans like me usually sleep deep and happily)...

I think we will need a month celebrating the 10th anniversary in 4 years ;-)

30 Days of Gratitude - 23

o.o .... I'm bad at challenges this year ... 

I got nothing for Luna's colour challenge today, although Jonquil is quite a nice yellow ...

and I'm way behind in the 30 Days of Gratitude ... tho that doesn't mean I haven't been grateful at all ... 

I actually have been gratefull enough to fill weeks and I'll tell you about some of it sooner or later  ;-)

But today I'm YAY once more for one of those awesome DJs at Sanctuary Rock ...

You prolly know that I love my DJs ...my reg ones and those who fill in when needed ...

they are one of the main reasons I get up quite early every weekend ...

I already introduced you to singing DJs like UC and Netsurfer ... Seven and SDD ...Imdy and Erika

and now I got the one and only voice for you ... the guy who made the gals at SR scream and faint ;-)

please welcome .... live ... on air ...

DJ TAGG ............. enjoy ..... mmmmmhhhhh .... /me faints again .....

darn ... I should have asked him to sing too ;-)
btw. ... you can join DJ Tagg's Wild Ass ... erm...  that's his group in SL ... right here ...

I know ... I haven't posted much gratefulness lately ...
actually I haven't posted much at all anyway ...
the more grateful I am for 2 cool shifts at Sanctuary Rock this weekend ...
Friday Midnight (my Saturday morning) ... with DJ NET ...
YaY ... he finally heard my begging ... and SANG ... a whole song ;-)
and as Silver unfortunately missed it ...
and because Silver and Net are just an AWESOME team ...

Guess I tell that every May ....

I'm grateful to live on the Maifeld (Mayfield) ... 

especially on such a lovely springday as today ... 

when the beautiful canola fields almost seem to rival the sun ;-)

Baby ... you can drive my car ...

cause I suck at driving ... RL and SL ... ;-)

but that didn't stop me from trying the latest car from Hell's

and that's what I'm ... YaY ... grateful for it ;-)

Well ... I know, there are many functions I can't handle yet ...

or you just use it as a normal car ... (that's what I did)

all you need is a place that lets you rez it (it's  quite high primmed) and allows scripts.

2 in 1 ............ now how's that?

Gotta be economic these days ... lol

kk ... first I'd like to tell you what I'm grateful for ... 

actually I'm grateful for a lot of stuff ... like

- YaY ... rain stopped for a moment ... giving the wall in my room the chance to dry a bit ...

- YaY for the tasty cheesecake I just had ... mmmhhhh ...

- YaY ... I almost survived another game last night, that I tried with Dom ... Dungeon Empires ... and even managed to get up for my shift at Sanct after 4 hours of sleep only ;-P

and see ... I easily got to the point that I'm most grateful for today ... 

YaY ... for my cool DJ's once again ;-)))))

YaY ... of course there's NET every Friday Midnight ... rocking the Headbanger's Ball at Sanct ... I love it ;-))

YaY ... there's UC ... who did a double shift last week's Saturday night ... proving that DarthVader can wiggle, spin and SING !!!! ... I love it ;-))

YaY ... this morning I had ERIKA tearing down the dancefloor for us, just like in days of old .... and SINGING !!!! .... I love it ;-))

YaY ... to make my sunday morning even better, I had to grab the double, cause... I had the best hoochie herself ... the one and only Imdy ... throwing in cool tunes ... and SINGING ;-P ... guess what ... I love it ;-))

hehe ... and I got lots of that singing FRAPPED ... so stay tuned for singing DJs ;-))))

and just because I'm in the mood for it ... when I looked at today's pics I thought ...

 there's almost some PUEBLO in there ... 

with the right windlight setting you could get any red into pueblo, I bet ... 

so just imagine I had the right settings ...  ;-P

I hardly ever buy anything in SL ... so this is really special ... lol

oh ... and I just saw that the next week is a tenner (#20) ... and Deep Pink ... I should try to cooperate with Rudh again ... my old movie-plans for a coulour we missed in round 1 would fit perfectly for that ;-)

We just need to find the time ... hehe

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 18

yep ... that's me in the pic above ...

well my Battlestar Galactica Online character at least ... lol

My french LoonAtic, Dom, asked me to join him in the game he was just testing ...

I'm no gamer ... at least I usually don't play shooter ... 

and I'm miserable at any game-controls ... I can hardly walk in SL ... ;-P

So I had a bit of a hard time ... trying to get it working ... it actually didn't really work ... 

I mostly hung in the middle of the vast SPACE ... or simply got lost there ... like in this pic ... 

But the graphics are coooooooool ... and as long as I don't have to fight and can just fly around like a mad woman ... it's quite nice

So ... if you ever play this game ... and are on the Virgon-Server ... watch out for the Cylon 'LoonyMay' ... your mission could be in danger if I'm any near ;-P

so ... coming to a point (the only important point actually) ...

I'm super grateful for DOM to be my friend, no matter if we play, talk, listen to music, share silence or just do nothing ;-)

30 Days of Gratitude - 17

Well ... today's just been a normal workday ... and I'm grateful it's over ;-P

but I have to catch up with yesterday ... some more stuff to be grateful for ... 

YaY for DJ Ariana, who did a great job at the 10pm, even tho a guy in the club was giving her a hard time.

It was fun to have her spinning ... and if I got it right, she will be there next weekend too ... YaY

a double YaY for the midnight shift, which I couldn't resist grabbing because ....

Erika was the DJ ;-))))))))))))

Erika and Imdy ... almost like in the days of old ;-)

it was soooo cool to hear her giggle ... and sing ;-) ... again.

and of course I frapped it ... so I'll have one more clip of the category 'Singing DJs' soon ;-P

and I also enjoyed that Imdy, Seven, Poppy, Krista and others were around too ...

4 hours at Sanct passed away like nothing that morning ;-P

and a tripple YaY for those kind Co-Bloggers and folks who read and even commented on my posts ;-))

well ... looks like halftime is over ... even tho it took me a lot more than 15 days ;-)

But I'm an optimistic and positive kind of person ... and actually quite grateful everyday ... no need to write it down all the time ;-p

For today I'm grateful for tomorrow ... lol

I'm happy that I got the Medical Mayhem Event for my shift at Sanct ... one of my fav party themes

it gives me a reason to wear my Carnivore outfit I created ages ago (R.I.P. Peter) amd mix it with my blue lamp and my tiny syringe ;-) ... 

YaY ... I'll be poking folks to VOTE ... lol

and I'm glad I got Ariana jumping in as DJ cover ... cause DJ radio can be a pita ... lol

oh and I'm also darn happy that it's sunday tomorrow ... with a tasty coffee & cake time in the afternoon ...

mmmhhhhh ... wish you could smell the this freshly baked Marmorkuchen ...............

makes me hungry right now ;-)

So I'm better off to bed ... to make tomorrow come faster ... lol

when I don't feel well all day long ... 

when I could sleep since the moment I woke up ...

it's not that easy to be grateful ... lol

So it's YaY for my bed and my pillow again ;-P

oh ... and I'm grateful that I had Silver as my DJ ... 

even tho it was only for a few events

until someone thought he/she had to complain about her talking too much and so she resigned from her DJ job ;-(

What a damn bullshit ... cause it was so much fun to listen to her ... 

I LOVE when DJs talk and laugh and not just announce the songs ... or even worse ... don't talk at all ...

I want to feel a human spinning ... And Silver did that in a kickass way

I'll miss her, but I hope she'll be around as a guest still ... at least when DJ Net is on duty ;-)

Just finished preparing my event for tomorrow morning at Sanctuary Rock 

with DJ NET spinning ;-)))  ... Warriors is the theme ...

and besides that I'm quite happy about the new events that will be coming up soon ...

I realized once more, how grateful I should be that I'm living in a rather safe and wealthy country, with just minor problems, compared to lots of other parts in the world.

Wish it would be as easy as the Hippie in me likes to see it ...

YaY for this STYLISH dress ;-)

kk ... it's not exactly stylish ... it's rather a warning ... to stop eating that much chocolate ... lol

but HEY ... it's supposed to be Seashell-Peach, this week's colour of  Luna's 52WOCC II ...

and what's even more interesting, well ... at least for me ... it's my very first rigged dressed ... YaY

After lots of time dispairing over Blender and the trickiness of mesh ... I finally got a raw model moving along with my imported self ;-)

And I'm grateful for ashasekayi's great tutorials on youtube and also for all the help that can be found on the machinimatrix site

hhmmm ... maybe it would look better in red, what do you think?

oookaayy ... I guess it will need a lot more training, try & error, work and pain ... before I really upload my first mesh ...

but I have made a start ;-)))

I think, I give up squeezing several days into one post ... 

I just do them one by one, no matter how long it will take ... 

else I'd end up with higher maths and endless headlines ;-P

I've had a nice super long easter weekend ... 

could finally eat my first chocolate since weeks ...

was out for dinner with my mom ...

have Silver as my reg Saturday DJ now ;-))) ...

will get a new fridge soon ... 

and my almost grown up daughter insisted on decorating and painting eggs for easter ...

I'm definately grateful for all that ;-))))

I'm soooo grateful that I had to defrost that darn fridge in the evening ... 

and prolly need a new one anyway ...

kk ... I know ... I'm already behind again ... and I don't even have much of an excuse ...

it's been 

* ... one normal working day + damn housework ... I'm grateful it's over ;-)

* ... one long working day + a long rehearsal with the other band I'm in ... I'm grateful to be in both bands ... I'm grateful for music as such anyway ;-)

* ... one almost lazy day ... I'm grateful for any holidays right now ;-)

and today I spend quite some time checking bands that play at the metalfest in June ... 

looking at their clips on youtube was interesting ... and I even discovered a new band for me ... 

I'm really curious to see 'Powerwolf', a british 'psychodelic rock' band ... wow ... they groooooove

* ... YaY for the fun at the rehearsal today ... actually that's a Double-YaY ... cause I'm very happy to be in a second band now ... it's really cool with those guys ;-))

* ... YaY for only 2 working-days left this week ... and then a SUPER LONG WEEKEND ;-)))

* ... YaY again for my bed ... I'm coming now ;-)))

O.O ... yesterday I was so full of gratitude for my bed ... I missed posting in the evening ...
but as there had been more good things during the day ... I just write them down now ...

* ... it started with Silver doing another shift with me ;-)) ... so much fun  ... THANX ;-))

* ... even SL worked fine and rather lagless ;-) ... and I actually have enough gratitude for my poor dsl-connection, cause it kicked me off only 3 or 4 times without warning (could have been worse, right?)

* ... lazy sunday afternoon ...


* ... and I met this delicious lil friend ... loved it so much that I wanted to be ONE with it .... mmmmmmhhhhh

and today ?

well ... WEEKEND is over ... but ...

* ... it was a wonderful (slightly cold) spring day ... look what I found in our garden ;-))

* and now I will be grateful for my bed again ;-))

* ... YaY ... for DJ Silver, who rocked my morning and lifted my mood out of the super laggy depths of SL

She was an awesome cover For DJ net, who is on holidays (mmmmhhhh ... holidays)

and guess what ... yep ... I caught Silver singing ;-))))

Next should be a duett of Silver and Net ;-P ... I wonder if I could get them into that *grins*

* ... YaY ...  for a lazy Saturday on the couch ... ;-)

* ... YaY ... for baking tasty muffins in the evening (mmmmhhhhh)

* ... YaY ... today I ordered tickets for the Metalfest 2012 in June at the Loreley ... Going to see Megadeth, W.A.S.P., Eluveitie, Blind Guardian, Kyuss Lives, Ensiferum, Moonspell, In Extremo and many more ... 3 days of DEATH to the EARS ... lol ... and the first time I have my son at a festival with me ;-) ... double YaY ;-))

* ... YaY ... it's still WEEKEND ... isn't it?

It's been a normal workday today ... not much happened ... actually nothing happened

* ... Guess I'm grateful that I got work (even tho I'm longing for holidays right now)

* ... I enjoyed looking at co-blogger's posts again ... 

happy to see that Rudh joined the challenge ... and her dancing with Izzy made me smile ;-) ... 

and looking at Laila's holiday pics was cool too ... I love RL pics of ppl I know only via the virtual world ... it kinda makes a difference ;-))

and I love holidays ... hehe

* ... I'm thankful for all the electronic stuff that helps me spending my time with nonsense ... pc and camera ...

what would  do without them ... It would take ages to get pics done or even painted ( tho painting is on my to do list *grins*) ... but as I got a nice cam and a pc and not much to do before sleeping ... here's the result ...

erm ... do I have to be grateful for all my wrinkles? ... I guess so, tough work to get them hehe ...

* ... I'm glad my Asparagus, I bought for the 52 colours challenge last year, is still alive

* ... and everyday I'm looking at the Boulet I got from Dom and enjoy it ;-))

Hey ... did you notice I used Tea Green in those pics ... this weeks colour in the 2nd round of 52WOCC ?!?

* ... I didn't mention the weekend yesterday, did I ???!!!???
