52 Colours - # 40 & 41 - Apricot & Jazzberry

WOW ... I hadn't posted for about 2 weeks .. and now 2 posts (and 4 colours) in 1 day ;-))

and what's even better ... it's a tenner ... one of the 'every 10th' with Rudh ... 

a challenge within the challenge, cause Rudh threw down the proverbial gauntlet for me

and it only took me more than 4 weeks to finish it ... hehe

made me almost die from laughing several times ... you are warned hereby ...

So .. without further ado welcome Mr. Mayo and the Love of his Life

I'm pretty sure there isn't just Apricot in Rudh's breathtaking outfits (yep ... both of them *grins*), but in Mr. Mayo's vest too ... and the Jazzberry can be found in his cassis pop ... a drink I had found during my vacation visiting the Dutch and which I imported  right into SL. It's actually created from the can I brought with me ... it looks so cool (but the pop tastes ... well ... erm ... let's say, I don't need to drink it again ... hehe)

hm ... 2 more colours ... not bad, huh, ... it leaves me only 6 to catch up atm ... including #28 Pink ... which is causing me some unexpected problems ... but I cannot have Miss Laura18 Streeter look like THIS just because my bluebox thinks PINK is BLUE ....

But I'll get it sorted out before xmas ... PROMISED !!!

52 Colours - #44 & 45 - Firebrick & Bronze

Just when I was trying to find an idea for the Firebrick post, I got an invitation from Billeh for a nice evening ...

kk ... it's not as if I would run out of gowns fast ... so I redressed and followed Billeh's tp
 
just to get showered and soaking wet, to climb a rope, walk over a hill and thru the jungle, to crash into trees and a private house (and get ejected from there) while trying to paraglide, to roast marshemellows in the campfire ...

I wonder how the bronce-relief got there, thought I had given it into the bulky waste ;-P

WhoooHooo two less colours to catch up ...

Time to play ... ?!?

I've been to Cologne yesterday .. with my family ...
we wanted to visit the gamescom ... 'the world's largest trade and media platform in the game sector' ...
and it started for us with an almost 1 hour traffic jam for the last 15 km ...
just to be told that, after we finally arrived, they had stopped letting ppl in for security reasons ...
thousands of ppl waiting outside in the heat ... and we had 2 very dissapointed lil boys with us ...
so we decided to take a walk into the city of Cologne ... find something tasty to eat ... and come back later ...
I wonder if they'll ever close Cologne for security reasons ... the town was quite packed too ... lol
In the afternoon we managed to get into the gamescom ;-)))
masses of ppl ... you could wait ages to play the more interesting stuff ... and my ears were soon beeping ... it was loud as a rock concert ;-P
and I got arrested by 2 troopers ... erm ... must admit 2 good looking troopers ... *grins*

but they let me go ... phew ... as I wanted to go to a small, kinda private, festival in the evening, where meeting long-time-no-see-friends made the day even better ;-)
I love weekends like that ;-))))

... after my holiday break I'm back to hosting at Sanct ... and besides that almost everything there kinda changed while I was away ... I was glad to find that Imdy was my DJ for the Friday Midnight ... something that prolly will become rather rare in the future ....
I missed the tunes and the ppl during the last 2 weeks, but the connection on the campsite was rather poor ... lol
The more happy I was when Imdy announced the most beautiful song ever written by anyone ...

and of course Peter Pan Speedrock - they sounded a bit like Motörhead on speed, damn they were fast and loud as hell ... and definately fun ;-)))
