well ... I haven't been away that long anyway ... *snigger*
But it felt good to be back at Sanct ... to see Cats, Alvena, and a lot of other folks ... old and new faces ... erm ... I'm not talking of age here ... lol
DJ Drake was in a great mood today ... playing cool sound ... and giving us the pleasure of his smexy voice on air ;-)))
so I didn't even mind that I'm back to colour events ... ;-P
... and as I was on hubby's new laptop, cause my pc is broken ...
I head NO LAG ... a totally new feeling ... lol ...
still strange though ... with a smaller screen and the keys felt so weird ...
anyway ... I'm looking forward to tomorrow as well ... colours again ... at least no WHITE ... but BLACK & BLUE ... lol
and damn ... my normal slideshow background is on the broken pc ... like so many other files ... somehow I gotta rescue it all ...
oh ... why do good times always pass so fast ...
well ... I'm still in the middle of my 'dutch' week ...
We had a great start on Saturday ... with the Wallenpop Festival ... lots of bands playing on 2 stages ..
not every band played the style I like , but still they were good enough to listen to and enjoy ... and 2 bands were an absolut blast ... 'Stöma' - playing punk-funk ... and what a cool bassplayer they had ... playing his bass with a violin bow sometimes ... and 'Elle Bandita' - a punk rock band ... they were so hot ... my daughter and me ended in a pogo and crowd-surfing group ... some crazies threw their beer-glasses (luckily plastic) from the fortress walls onto the crowd in front of the stage (where we stood) ... real punk ... lol
well ... I only took pics during the day ... some you see in the Slideshow ... there've been quite some cool ppl running around ... damn ... I didn't take pics of them all ...
When I'm back home and get my pc back from the dead ... or a new one ... lol ... I'll make a cut from my video and post it ...
On Sunday we took a long walk through Hellevoetsluis ... some pics from the hundreds I took are in the slide too ...
Today was Beach-Day ... very relaxing ...
we were lucky to have nice sunny and warm weather all the time ... but in the early evening today it started to rain quite a bit ... time to post ... lol
so guess we'll do some shopping tomorrow ... and the next days we'll meet a dutch SL friend who lives in the next village ... looking forward to that ;-)
btw. didn't think staying out of sl for a bit would feel so good ... ok ... easy in a nice vacation ... *grins*
so ... watch out ... only RL-pix coming now ;-)))
... or not?
We were supposed to have a Masked Ball ...
... well ... yeah ... erm ...
I didn't think of gasMASKS then ... lol ... but maybe we fart to much at Sanct ... lol
Anyway ... although it almost made my head explode to find a mask ... and I only found this very old rotten one in my invent ...
it was FUN ... ;-)
I was wondering if I should let you guess who's under the masks in my SlideShow this time ...
but then again ... you know ... I'm a good girl ... ;-)
OMG ... I wonder how I will get over my Sat and Sun-morning next week without being at Sanct ....
Prolly by sleeping loooooong ... *grins* ... haven't done that for ages ...
btw ... I updated yesterday's post by adding some new pix into the C.O.R. SlideShow ...
as I surprisingly did another event there ...
first time ever with a non talking DJ ... but I guess we'll get dante talking someday ... *grins*
I can't complain about being bored .. lol ...RL keeps me very busy with work ...
looks like I gotta deserve my vacation first ... *grins*
and SL has me busy with hosting ... and endless fighting with scripts when I can grab some time for building ... but if they should ever work, those scripts, I'll be VERY PROUD ... ;-P
yeah ... and one of the many things that are on my mind is forming a vitual / SL-band ...
I'll tell you more about it when I got the details worked out ...
but in case you're interested in being part of it ... send me an IM ;-))
So ... here are some pix of my IMMORTAL-Party with DJ Blythe (wow ... that girl ROCKS !!!)
and the BIKER-Party with DJ Drake ;-))
and of course some pix of the WINGS-Party at the C.O.R. ... this time with LORD MAXXIUS as my hot DJ ... as Marvel is on his well deserved vacation ...
Maxxius ... spank me that I lost the pics of you ... but the paint of your wings was so wet ... it spilled all over it ... *grins*
But therefore I might get the chance to say a RL 'Hi' to you next week ... and I'll have an RL cam with me ... *snigger*
cya all at the MASKED-Party at 10pm(SLT) @ Sanct ...
yeah ... no color event ;-))))))))))
