Time to play ... ?!?

I've been to Cologne yesterday .. with my family ...
we wanted to visit the gamescom ... 'the world's largest trade and media platform in the game sector' ...
and it started for us with an almost 1 hour traffic jam for the last 15 km ...
just to be told that, after we finally arrived, they had stopped letting ppl in for security reasons ...
thousands of ppl waiting outside in the heat ... and we had 2 very dissapointed lil boys with us ...
so we decided to take a walk into the city of Cologne ... find something tasty to eat ... and come back later ...
I wonder if they'll ever close Cologne for security reasons ... the town was quite packed too ... lol
In the afternoon we managed to get into the gamescom ;-)))
masses of ppl ... you could wait ages to play the more interesting stuff ... and my ears were soon beeping ... it was loud as a rock concert ;-P
and I got arrested by 2 troopers ... erm ... must admit 2 good looking troopers ... *grins*

but they let me go ... phew ... as I wanted to go to a small, kinda private, festival in the evening, where meeting long-time-no-see-friends made the day even better ;-)
I love weekends like that ;-))))

When Hoochie Sings ...

... after my holiday break I'm back to hosting at Sanct ... and besides that almost everything there kinda changed while I was away ... I was glad to find that Imdy was my DJ for the Friday Midnight ... something that prolly will become rather rare in the future ....
I missed the tunes and the ppl during the last 2 weeks, but the connection on the campsite was rather poor ... lol
The more happy I was when Imdy announced the most beautiful song ever written by anyone ...

Last Day in Hellevoet

yep ... unfortunately it's our last day In Hellevoetsluis ... ;-(
but fortunately it's the day of WALLENPOP ;-)))
so I'm looking forward to 12 hours of cool music and hopefully hardly any rain ...

the festival area with the 2 stages you see on the pic above will prolly already start filling up by now ... and I'll hurry to get breakfast done and then I'll head over to the vesting ;-)

When I'm back home tomorrow, I'll start to catch up with the still missing colours from the colour challenge ... and my pea brain already picked up the gauntlet, that Rudh had kinda thrown ;-)

Blog Hero Challenge - #1 & 2

so there are more blog-challenges to be found lately ... as I saw on Rudh's and Guen's blogs ...
and the one that I found most interesting for me is the Blog Hero Challenge from Shay, which is already in it's 2nd week ...
I'll prolly not be able to do it every week, but I try to keep up at least in the beginning ;-)
the task is to do a picture/create a scene to some song-lyrics given by Shay ...
In my case it will prolly not always be SL-related ... I think I'll rather play a lot with gimp with whatever pic or idea I can grab hold on ;-)
