In the late afternoon today I rode my bicycle to the supermarket, which was a tiny bit risky, cause we had winter coming to our part of the country yesterday ... bringing ca. 10-15cm of wonderful fresh snow. We already had a wonderful sunrise which I enjoyed during my shift, while Imdy played a wonderful slightly mellow set, the day couldn't have started better. And now there was an amazing sunset ... with a sky something between light blue and kitschig pink, fog raising above the snowcovered fields ... stunning and breathtaking ... Unfortunately I had only my mobile with me, which only does quite poor pics, but still I had to shoot some.
Later I returned home ... frozen feet and fingers, but totally happy ... Sometimes I just love to live on the countryside ;-)
You don't expect me to share any secrets, do you???!!??? I don't have any skeletons in my cupboard (only cups ... and maybe some dust here and there) ...
I found a much more romantic place for them ... *grins* If you wanna see some secrets, check out the Single Frame Stories (blog and flickr)
Yep and Yippeeee ... I won today's photohunt in the name of Science ... honestly ... it was the pure scientific interest of an art historian ... ... ... ;-)
Today we were sent to Mieville Wells, a steampunk-themed sim with all kind of shops ... and the theme was 'handcrafted with love' ... or something like that ... as Photohunt (the cute robot) said: The theme is about apprieciating hand-craftsmanship ... ... and I just had a close look at what to appreciate ;-)
and here is the Photohunt-Wall with all entries ... we've been a small crowd only ;-)
for a closer look click pic to enlarge pic ;-)
How about you? Will you join us next Monday 11.30am (SLT) at the Photohunt Gallery?
The way might be not easy , but the goal is ... DIY-Learning a new language ... as fast as possible ... ;-)
YaY ... Easy ... that should be EASY ;-) erm ... or maybe not ... well ... right now my lil pea brain tries to fill up and cope with a new language ... french ... cause I would love to talk to my french LoonAtic in french easily, I want to understand the songs of my fav french band 'Toxic Waste' ... and I want to learn it fast, cause if all works out fine, Toxic Waste will stop by for a gig in Koblenz in April 2013 during their short tour thru Belgium, Czech Republic and Germany ...I can hardly wait to meet them guys again and it would be cool to talk to them in FRENCH ;-)
Here's Toxic Waste playing their song Bricolage Circus at the Hauptquartier in Aachen last year, sorry that my cam totally ruined the sound.
So I got me a soft to learn french on my own ... and I'm glad that nobody can hear me yet, when I try to repeat the exercises ;-)
While I go back to my lessons now, so I can do a blogpost in french one day;-) ... you can check out all the cool SingleFrameStories entries on blog or flickr!
