52 colours - #23 - Asparagus

Today's post is not funny ...it's serious.
Deadly serious actually ... well ... maybe ...
at least it could be for my new Asparagi (erm ... I think that's the plural of Asparagus) ...
I love Asparagus ... the colour and the green potted plant ..
(but not the veggie, that's rather ... erm ... yurgh)
So when I saw Luna's colour for this week, I remembered that I once had an Asparagus (potted) that I loved ...
but unfortunately ... as much as I love green plants ...
I got no green thumb !!!
So anything else but my coffeeplant, my aloe and my yucca (and weird enough, my benjamini) hardly has a chance to survive ...
Nevertheless ... last monday I got me 2 asparagi from our local nursery (funny word).
During the week I wanted to create a matching outfit ...
but somehow it all went wrong, especially due to that darn problems with textures that have transparent parts ...
So I ended up hiding behind my asparagi that I managed to bring into SL (potted them into my coffee mugs and will add them to my desk plant collection ;-P ) ...
and to distract a bit from the outfit failure I added this tasty lollipop that Anarchist gave me today during my shift at Sanct ;-) ... be hugged and kissed for that, Anarchist ;-*





















oh ... and here are my RL Asparagi right after I bought them ... they still look great ...
But to keep them that way I might need your help ...
maybe you could give me a shout now and then ...
something like 'Remember your Asparagi, give it some water !!! '





















For next week Luna wants us to look into the fridge ...
but I swear I don't have any Eggplant in there ... it's yurgh too ... lol

Imagine King Kong's surprise, when all he wanted was eating a tasty banana ;-)
I love bananas, he loves bananas ... let's hope he loves me too ;-)


I had a whole lot of fun with Luna's choice for this week: BANANA MANIA
tho actually more with the colour's name than with the colour itself.
hehe ... and I didn't dare posting what I first had in mind ;-P





















I'm a tiny bit proud of my outfit this time ;-)
I might even use it as a start for a new collection for my shop LoonAtic Wear ...
maybe something like 'fashionable food' ... *grins*
it's been quite a while ... quite a long time, to be honest, since I released new stuff for my store ...
must be this Colour Challenge that keeps me far too busy ... lol

Anyway ... ASPARAGUS for next week ...
what a beautiful colour, IM already looking forward to that one ;-)
