I lost most of my army when I played Risiko with my family this afternoon ... but I'm excused ... it was a busy weekend ... with only 3 hours sleep each night ...

Terraforming in RL (e.g. gardenwork) for several hours ... finding a dress to wear at the blogger party ... the blogger party itself ... as usual I stayed quiet in public chat (same as I do on RL-parties)... but had a nice chat with Guen, so glad she was there, as I knew some names from their blogs only, and most ppl I didn't know at all ... but I had a relaxing time there while trying to watch the folks (and the wrestling) without crashing ... damn ... I thought I had taken more pics, but I guess I accidently hit cancel instead of save sometimes ... Both my events were ROCKED by the awesome DJ Erika this time ... and I even had some time to head over to Demonic ... swapping lag for lag ... *grins* I think March was a good month ... with lots of Line-Dancing ... worth to be put into a clip ;-P Don't miss DJ Fluxy and his voices in there ... and you'll even find some wrestling ... hehe

when I saw Tymmerie Thorne's reminder about the Blogger Party tomorrow ... erm ... rather today for me ;-P (Saturday, March 27th from 2:00-5:00 PM SLT at Rezzed TV Island) ... I wondered if I should dare to go that party ... even if I prolly won't know anyone there ... it could be interesting ... So I logged in and imediately rushed into my dressing room ... erm ... well, actually the sandbox I call 'Home' at the moment ... and digged in my closet ... e.g. invent ... and to behave like a real woman , I set up a mirror ... OMG ... big mistake ... *snigger* I spent HOURS in front of that mirror ... and I'm just glad that I don't have to tidy up that messy pile of clothing ... ;-P I never need that long in RL to dress up ... (well ... I actually don't have that much stuff to dress up anyway ...)
And do I know now what to wear ????!!!!???? NO ... But there are still some hours left, that I can either waste on sleeping ... or play Barbie again ... oh ... and should I go to a hairdresser first ? ... *grins* OK ... 2 hours break during my still DJ-less Punk-event at midnight ... but maybe someone will stop by and give me good advice ;-P ...
Oh ... and maybe you even join me on that Blogger Party ... so I don't feel totally like a stranger ... everyone's invited, they say ;-)))

I don't have it ... in RL ... rather a brown thumb .... *grins* but thanks to SL I'm able to have plants that stay green ... even if I forget to water them ... actually I don't have to water them at all ... and as I like things to be a bit different , I put them into mugs ... coffee mugs ... cause I love coffee ... and made them the first LoonAtic Desk Plants ... part of the 'more' in 'Fashion & more' ... ;-P Now I'm already looking thru my kitchen for more vessels to fill with green stuff ... wish I could grow DJs like I can grow plants ... as today I found out that I got no reg Friday midnite DJ anymore ... someone could have told me ... damn ... anyway ... that way each Saturday morning starts with a surprise for me ... and I learn to change my spams on the fly ...
still 2 more days till weekend ... pfffffffffffffffff
in SL for a long time now ... and in RL since ages even ... no need to pretend anything else ... I know it makes me a total BORE but it spares me trouble and drama ... and I don't cause any ... I don't mind being a loner anyway, since talking to my french LoonAtic (or often just being silent together) while messing in gimp or in a sandbox already brings me to my limits of multitasking ... I don't know which stupido said that women are good at multitasking ... but then again ... I'm not into shopping ... I hate shoes -that's why I even in RL wear the same pair everyday ;-P - and housework (incl. cooking ... excl. baking) is a kind of torture for me ... erm ... *scratches head* ... but I can assure you 'I AM a woman' ... *grins*
Anyway ... today it's been a good day at my job ... I've been jogging ... spring is in the air ... I had my first items sold since re-opening LoonAticWear at Sanct ... I saw Goran, my sweet venitian vampire, online (damn that I missed him when I hopped in ... must be our fate to send offline IMs only, but good to know he's still around)... and I look ahead to a weekend with some RL Terra-forming in our garden ... more jogging ... some time to work on some LoonAtic SL ideas ... and hopefully a DJ at my midnight shift tonight (not snoring ... *grins*)

At a meeting in my RL job today I was asked to estimate how much time I'd need to finish the plans I'm working on right now (ca. 30 formal and structural drawings) ... How I hate this question ... cause I'm always wrong with my estimations ... It's not better in my second life ... I had started an outfit for St Patrick's day ... which happens to be tomorrow ... and just finished it today ... a bit late for selling it ... ;-P ok ... GREEN-lovers could wear it all over the year ... ;-P anyway ... it will be available at Sanctuary Rock Mall for a limited time ... Easter is in about 3 weeks ... and I haven't even started bringing the ideas out of my head to life in gimp or in an SL-sandbox ... Maybe I should drop Easter-time ... and begin with Xmas outfits right away ... *sigh*
that's how I spent most of my SL time ... when I'm hosting and dancing I love to take pics or hit my fraps button now and then ... so I can think of the nice times I have with those nice friends around ... whenever I'm in the mood for it ... or remember the nice ideas my pc often has about a 'good looking SL' ... *grins* so today I made a slideshow again ...
and a lil clip ... and I smile and feel good when I look at it ...
Looks like I never find the time for pix and clips when I'm in a sandox building and scripting ... lol btw. ... thanx to Rob and Maxx ... for having me in their sandbox ... can't find a better and undisturbed place for creating nonsense ;-)))
looks like this day always makes me wonder if I should let it be ... see ... even my pc says it's enough ... when I sat down in the sandbox ... digged out the unfinished mirror table from my gone home at Volkov ... and tried to get virtually drunk on a Hurricane ... ... mid second life crisis ... tho that would actually mean 3 more years to go ... uffff ... can't stay away from it anyway ... maybe I should try to follow my French LoonAtic's advice ... and make the effort worth it ... >>> cheers <<<
